Details

PoC ( Push-to-Talk over Cellular ) PoC ( Push-to-Talk over Cellular ) radio stations are a modern technology that combines the advantages of traditional radio communication with mobile phone networks. The PNI PoC 1800 operates over mobile data networks (3G, 4G, LTE) and allows real-time voice communication over long distances, without the need for dedicated radio equipment and traditional radio frequencies.
Mobile data network The PNI PoC 1800 radio station uses the data networks of mobile operators to transmit voice. This means that it does not depend on VHF/UHF radio frequencies, but on the mobile internet. As long as there is mobile coverage, the stations can operate over unlimited distances.
Voice and signal quality Because PoC communication is done over data networks, voice quality depends on the internet connection. With fast networks like 4G, latency is very low, making the user experience almost instantaneous, similar to traditional radio stations.
Covering Unlike traditional radios that have limited range, PoC stations can operate anywhere there is mobile data coverage. If the mobile data network is unavailable or has performance issues, communications can be affected.
Wi-Fi function The PNI PoC 1800 radio station can connect to any available Wi-Fi network to transmit and receive voice data. As long as the Wi-Fi connection is active and stable, PoC communication works without problems. For example, if a user leaves the Wi-Fi coverage area, the device will automatically switch to the mobile data network to continue communication.
