Features and functionalityThe lockout is made of heavy-duty steel and provides a durable solution for protecting a parking space. When the arm is raised, it creates a physical barrier that prevents unauthorized vehicles from entering. Operation is via radio remote control, with an operating distance usually up to about 15 m, allowing the mechanism to be activated remotely. The design also allows for manual key control, useful in situations where the remote control is not available or the battery is low. |

Solar power and batteryThe PNI PL20 is equipped with solar power and an internal battery, which allows it to operate independently of a permanent power source. The integrated solar panel collects light energy from the sun and converts it into electricity, which is stored in the approximately 4,000 mAh 4 V lead-acid battery. |
Installation and how to useThe installation of the PNI PL20 is done on flat surfaces, such as asphalt or concrete, using suitable anchor screws. The locking arm should be fixed vertically when in the raised position, to lock the parking space, and lowered when the space is used. The remote control is paired with the main unit, and the user can raise or lower the arm remotely. In addition, there is the option of manual key operation for special situations (e.g. low battery or remote control failure). |
