The wood of the sandalwood tree is so rich in oils that it is used as a candle by the inhabitants of Haiti, as it burns for a long time. The distilled essential oil gives off a balsamic, woody fragrance with notes of musk and is used in perfumery, aromatherapy and cosmetic applications.

Ingredients, indications, recommendations

Ingredients: essential oil of Santal Amyris (Amyris balsamifera).

Way of ussage:

• Massage: 4-6 drops of essential oil incorporated in a vegetable oil.
• Bath: 5-10 drops in bath water.
• Aromatherapy: 3-5 drops mixed with water.

Warnings: essential oils need to be kept (stored) in a dry and cool place, away from sunlight. Keep out of reach of children and never use internally. Not recommended for pregnant women, nursing mothers, people allergic to this product.
